  BNA Wealth Manager, Powered by Scivantage, is an innovative and user-friendly financial planning software tool that helps advisors build lasting client relationships. BNA Wealth Manager enables advisors to present tailored solutions to help their clients meet their specific financial goals and objectives.

  Although it contains a comprehensive toolset, the software supports quick and efficient case creation for standard "goals-based" plans. The side-by-side layout of data input and analysis allows the advisor to immediately see the impact of plan modifications, one of the many time-saving features of BNA Wealth Manager.

• How do I run BNA Wealth Manager?

• What if I forgot my username / password combination?

  You can retrieve your username / password combination by email or telephone.

  To retrieve your username / password combination by email

  1. Cllick the Forgot Your Username or Password? link on the BNA Wealth Manager Login dialog.

  2. Enter the email address for your user account and click Send It. A confirmation message appears.

  3. Click OK to close the confirmation message. Your login credentials will be emailed to you.

  To retrieve your username / password combination by telephone, contact Customer Support at 1-800-424-2938.

• When I launch BNA Wealth Manager, the Login dialog is cut off. How can I fix this?

  You need to set your display resolution to 1024 x 768. It may also be necessary to change your DPI setting to either Normal-96 or Large-120.

Installation

• What are the system requirements for BNA Wealth Manager?

  BNA Wealth Manager is designed for computers running Windows XP, Vista, 2000, or later. Here is a list of what you need to run BNA Wealth Manager. Please keep in mind that systems meeting the minimum requirements will perform noticeably slower than systems meeting or exceeding the recommended specifications.

• What is the default installation folder for BNA Wealth Manager?

Configuration

• Before I use BNA Wealth Manager are there program settings that I need to configure?

  No. There are not settings that you need to configure. BNA Wealth Manager is pre-configured with default settings that let you begin using the program right away.

• Are there any configuration options in BNA Wealth Manager to adapt the program to my business situation?

  Yes! There are standard and customized configuration options available with BNA Wealth Manager. See the Configuring Settings and Preferences section of the BNA Wealth Manager Quick Start Guide (PDF) for information about the standard configuration options. For information about customized configuration options in BNA Wealth Manager, contact Technical Support.

• What is the default location for client files?

  By default client files are stored under the My Documents folder in the folder \BNA_Software\BNAWealthManager.

  To change the location of the default folder:

  1. In the menu bar, select Tools > File Settings. The File Settings dialog opens.

  2. Under Location, click Change. The Select Directory dialog opens.

  3. Enter the folder location where you would like BNA Wealth Manager to save new client files and then click OK. This will return you to the File Settings dialog.

  4. Click Close to exit the File Settings dialog.
